One of the most beautiful cities of India and perhaps the world, Udaipur is aptly called the City of Lakes and the Venice of East. Founded in 1559 by Maharana Udai Singh II, Udaipur is located on the banks of the picturesque Lake Pichola and the lake of Fatehsagar, in the southern part of the Indian state of Rajasthan.

This great tourist destination is well-connected by roadways, railways and airways. Those wishing to travel by train can choose from the Chetak Express, Ahmedabad Express, and the Lake City Express. The Dabok airport that connects Udaipur with various destinations in India is situated at close quarters from Udaipur. In addition, one can also board the buses introduced by the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation to take the tourists to the dream destination of Udaipur.
