The most vibrant, colorful and culturally rich state of India, Rajasthan is also much known for the way and passion with which it celebrates the various festivals throughout the greater part of the year. The real color of the state is most discernible in the colorful and fervent celebration of the various festivals and fairs. Colorful costumes, dance, music, food… these are just a few of the ingredients that make the festival time something to look for while on a visit to the state.

During the festival seasons, the atmosphere in Rajasthan becomes lively and colorful with men and women, young or old, wearing new and colorful costumes. While the womenfolk wear brightly colored lehangas and odhnis, the men wear bright and multi-colored turbans.
